About Equalify

Equalify is an Open Source Web Accessibility platform for large-scale scanning and reporting.

How is Equalify Maintained?

Equalify is maintained by University of Illinois Chicago’s Digital Accessibility Engineering. Everything is published to our Github Organization.

Soon, the Equalify Association will inform the Equalify roadmap and sponsor additional projects, such as this website.

Can I join the Equalify Association?

Yes! The Equalify Association will be open to anyone.

Members receive:

  • Access to Equalify Slack channels.
  • Invitation to regular roadmap meetings.
  • Email newsletter with Early releases of equalify.

Membership will have an annual cost associated with it to.

Membership funds ($175,000) will be used to purchase Equalify’s Delaware C-Corp from investors, allowing ownership of Equalify to be split between The Equalify Association and the University of Illinois Chicago.

Once the Delaware C-Corp is purchased, funds will sponsor development that members prioritize.

Why is the Equalify Association important?

The Equalify Association serves as a platform for users outside the University of Illinois Chicago to contribute to the development of Equalify.
